Simple terms
for thoughtful learning.

These terms govern your use of the Narrela iOS app and website, provided by Aras Demir, including Narrela Pro purchases.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using Narrela, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

2. Educational purpose

Narrela provides stories, vocabulary help, pronunciation, quizzes, and progress tools for general language-learning purposes. It does not guarantee fluency, academic results, certification, or professional translation accuracy.

3. License to use Narrela

You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Narrela for lawful, non-commercial purposes, subject to these terms and Apple’s applicable App Store terms.

4. Acceptable use

You may not copy, redistribute, sell, reverse engineer, interfere with, or misuse Narrela or its content except where applicable law expressly permits it. You may not use the app in a way that infringes another person’s rights or violates law.

5. Content and intellectual property

Narrela’s name, visual identity, software, original stories, illustrations, and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these terms are reserved.

6. Free access and Narrela Pro

Narrela offers three fixed free sample stories per level and language. Pro unlocks the full story library. Monthly, annual and lifetime options provide the same Pro library access. Tools within free stories, saved vocabulary and reading preferences remain available without Pro. The purchase screen describes the offering available to you before payment.

7. Payments and automatic renewal

Purchases are billed by Apple through your Apple Account. The app shows the total price, currency and billing period before you confirm. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge for renewal during the 24 hours before that period ends. Any price changes, notices and consent requirements are handled under Apple’s rules and applicable law. A free trial or promotion applies only if expressly offered on the purchase screen.

8. Cancellation, restoration and refunds

Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings, or use Manage Subscriptions in Narrela Settings. Deleting the app or resetting learning progress does not cancel a subscription. Canceling normally leaves access available until the paid period ends; after expiry, Pro stories require an active entitlement again. Your locally saved vocabulary and progress are not deleted when Pro expires.

Use Restore Purchases in Narrela with the Apple Account used for the purchase to recover eligible access. Purchases and restoration require an internet connection. Refund requests for Apple-billed purchases can be made at Apple’s Report a Problem service. Eligibility is determined under Apple’s policies and applicable law. Nothing here removes your statutory consumer rights.

9. Lifetime purchase

Lifetime is a one-time, non-consumable purchase with no recurring renewal fee or scheduled subscription expiry. It grants access to the Narrela Pro story library; it does not promise every separate future product or service. It does not automatically cancel an existing monthly or annual subscription: cancel that subscription separately in your Apple Account settings to prevent further renewal charges. Access may be revoked following a refund or purchase reversal.

10. Availability and changes

We may improve or change features when reasonably necessary, subject to your paid-access rights and applicable law. Material changes affecting paid access will be communicated as required by law; this section does not give us a right to remove purchased access arbitrarily. We aim to keep Narrela reliable, but do not promise that every feature will always be available or error-free.

11. Disclaimer

Narrela is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. Language meanings and pronunciations can vary by region and context; important decisions should not rely solely on content in the app.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Narrela. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

13. Apple terms

Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement and applicable App Store rules. Apple is not responsible for Narrela’s support or content except as required by law.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect product or legal changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms, where permitted by law.
